SelectRx, a subsidiary of SelectQuote, is seeking a Pharmacy Inventory Technician in Indianapolis to receive, track, and manage drug inventory; maintain records and ensure accurate stock levels. The role emphasizes compliance, recalls coordination, and collaboration with operations and accounting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in inventory control or pharmacy tech roles and may have 3 years of related experience; knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control or as a pharmacy tech required.
• 3 years of experience in inventory control preferred.
• Direct experience in retail mail order or specialty pharmacy as a pharmacy technician is a plus.
• Knowledge of standard medical terminology is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Receive goods and enter receipts into the computerized inventory system with accuracy.
• Maintain invoicing for all drug and supply accounts.
• Coordinate with operations to meet business needs and provide support as needed.
• Sort and stock inventory on shelves daily as orders arrive.
• Periodically review inventory for expired, damaged, or overstocked medications and coordinate disposal or return.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory records and perform cycle counts; investigate variances.
• Prepare the department for physical inventories and organize drug products by lot; update records.
• Resolve reconciliation issues with accounting or management.
• Oversee responses to medication recall notifications with the pharmacy manager.
• Adhere to SelectRx policies and maintain confidentiality.
