Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Inventory Specialist to execute and monitor inventory best practices at the Central Fulfillment site. You will train staff, manage orders, verify postings, and maintain accurate on-hand counts across multiple systems.

Responsibilities include coordinating with PIC and site leaders, ensuring timely deliveries, and handling recalls, vendor returns, and damaged goods. A valid pharmacy tech registration may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of diagnostics/analytics in inventory management or a related field.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and touch typing (10-key pad).
• Three months of Walgreens experience (internal candidates only).

Responsibilities

• Validate SOP adherence and coordinate inventory activities with PIC, Site Director and leaders.
• Educate team on warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including orders and inter-store transfers.
• Ensure deliveries are scanned and receipts corrected; liaise with vendors as needed.
• Post pharmacy shipments, manage recalls, returns, and damaged goods; maintain counts.
• Maintain on-hand quantities and inventory records across systems.
• Support compliance with state and local laws for regulated products.
