Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support both store and pharmacy inventory management, including receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planogram accuracy. You will help ensure On-Shelf Availability and maintain correct on-hand balances across front-end and pharmacy operations.

In designated stores, you may open/close, handle cash, assist customers, and coach team members on inventory workflows to maintain accuracy and a positive store experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior retail or Walgreens experience preferred.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the store and pharmacy.
• Review and coordinate use of reports and systems impacting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Perform front end and pharmacy asset protection activities and process returns and discrepancies.
• Open/close the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and cashier duties.
