Job summary

Walgreens in Canal Winchester, OH seeks an Inventory Technician to execute, monitor, and train on inventory SOPs for the facility and pharmacy. You will support receiving, counting, ordering, and returns while validating on-hand balances and pricing, and maintain asset protection.

Responsibilities include ensuring proper posting of shipments, coordinating with PIC and leaders, and maintaining accurate inventory across all areas, complying with state/local regulations and Walgreens policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years in diagnostics/analytics in inventory management.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Experience identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills and 10-key typing.

Responsibilities

• Validate SOP adherence and coordinate inventory activities with PIC, Site Director, and leaders.
• Educate team on warehouse and vendor inventory processes and system usage.
• Ensure deliveries are scanned, verify receipt, and correct orders with vendors.
• Post pharmacy shipments and maintain accurate on-hand counts in inventory systems.
• Support end-to-end inventory including recalls, returns, disposals, and audits.
