Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage store and pharmacy inventory, including receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planograms, while ensuring On-Shelf Availability. You will review reports, coordinate pricing, and support front-end and pharmacy stock to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include conducting warehouse/vendor coordination, executing SOPs, and delivering a positive customer experience through accurate inventory and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Six months Walgreens experience or one year retail experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute inventory best practices and SOPs for store and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Ensure On-Shelf Availability and manage planograms.
• Review reports and system applications affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Open/close store as needed, including cash handling and POS duties.
• Engage customers to ensure a positive experience and provide assistance.
• Coach team on inventory processes and pricing tasks.
• Scan deliveries and manage One Box receiving; correct orders as needed.
• Verify pharmacy shipments postings and counts; manage recalls and audits.
• Complete pricing changes and signage; ensure regulatory pricing compliance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and compliance with regulations across departments.
