Job summary

Medwiz Solutions, LLC is seeking an Inventory Specialist to independently support facility inventory control and product availability at our Bardonia, NY location. You will manage owes, receiving, counts, stock monitoring, returns, and recalls, coordinating closely with Purchasing and Inventory teams.

The role requires a current pharmacy technician license/registration or the ability to obtain it within 3–6 months, plus pharmacy operations experience and familiarity with inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Current pharmacy technician license/registration or able to obtain within 3–6 months.
• Pharmacy operations experience.
• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical products and inventory processes.
• Familiarity with pharmacy-management and inventory-control systems.
• Strong organization, problem solving, communication, and adaptability.
• Ability to meet stated physical and scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage receiving and distribution of wholesale medication deliveries.
• Monitor owes, out-of-stock items, and replenishment needs with Purchasing.
• Monitor the Inventory Dashboard and address routine inventory exceptions.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels and anticipated demand.
• Coordinate monthly brand returns for supplier credit.
• Support receiving, returns, and pre-pack workflows as needed.
• Execute product recalls, including quarantine, notification, and return/credit steps.
• Escalate significant inventory or supply issues to the Inventory Manager.
