Job summary

Walgreens is looking for an Inventory Specialist to execute and monitor inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy. You will manage receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planogram accuracy to support On-Shelf Availability.

You will review reports affecting on-hand balances and pricing, ensure asset protection, and assist in opening/closing, cash handling, and POS operations. Training and pharmacy license maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of retail or related experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage store inventory across front end and pharmacy, including receiving and pricing.
• Ensure planogram accuracy and on-shelf availability.
• Review reports impacting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Maintain asset protection procedures and document shortages/overages.
• Open/close the store as needed and perform cash handling duties.
• Support pharmacy and store operations, including POS tasks.
