Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician (Massachusetts) - Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy.
• 1-3 years related work experience in the medical field.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Receives order and matches purchase orders with packing slips; escalates discrepancies with distributors/manufacturers.
• Conducts semi-annual inventory tally with Pharmacy Manager.
• Oversees physical inventories with Internal Audit and Finance.
• Ensures drugs and supplies are properly ordered, received, stored, and secured per standards.
• Maintains and loads pharmacy automation for retail operations.
• Uses pharmacy software to optimize inventory PAR levels and forecast purchasing needs.
• Coordinates orders with vendors/wholesalers via wholesalers, GPO, dropship, 340B, or manufacturers.
• Provides end-of-month accruals, invoice coding, and financial reports in collaboration with Finance.
• Oversees drug recalls for retail and specialty pharmacies; manages CSOS ordering.
• Assists with weekly and biennial controlled substances inventory.
