Emerald Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Inventory Manager to oversee daily inventory activities and ensure medication and supply availability for uninterrupted patient care. This role focuses on accurate records, FEFO practices, and collaborating with pharmacists and operations to optimize workflows.

You will monitor inventories, manage replenishment, conduct audits, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced, healthcare setting. A CPhT and a relevant degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmacy inventory management, preferably in a mail order or high-volume setting.
• Experience maintaining inventory records and conducting inventory audits or reconciliations.
• Proficiency using inventory management systems and technology tools.
• Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) and compliance with state requirements.

Responsabilités

• Monitor inventory levels of medications, supplies, and pharmacy products to ensure availability and accuracy.
• Manage inventory replenishment and coordinate timely ordering of pharmacy products.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory reviews, track expirations (FEFO).
• Investigate variances and implement corrective actions; maintain accurate records and system transactions.
• Support regulatory compliance related to pharmacy inventory management and controlled substances.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and inventory reporting; collaborate with pharmacists and staff.
• Use systems to analyze trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
