Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dedicated Inventory Specialist to execute inventory SOPs and monitor accuracy at the Central Fulfillment site. You will support asset protection, validate reports, and coordinate with pharmacists and leadership to maintain correct on-hand quantities.

You will help manage vendor returns, planogram compliance, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries and postings. Eligibility includes a high school diploma and 4+ years in inventory analytics; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 4 years of diagnostics/analytics in inventory management or related field.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Experience with inventory systems and solving issues.

Responsibilities

• Validate SOP adherence and coordinate with PIC, Site Director and leaders.
• Educate team on warehouse/vendor inventory processes and inter-store orders.
• Ensure deliveries are scanned-in and coordinate returns with vendors.
• Verify pharmacy shipments postings and maintain accurate on-hand counts.
• Assist in physical inventory and support third-party inventory audits.
• Maintain inventory records and support inventory compliance with laws.
