Job summary

CVS Health in Tempe, AZ is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap, participate in pharmacy operations, and support patient care with empathy and accuracy.

You will assist with immunizations, counseling, and prescription processing while complying with SOPs and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure.
• Willing to work in a retail pharmacy environment, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment and patient service.
• Support immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where permitted by law.
• Learn SOPs, maintain patient privacy, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team environment.
