Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern position designed to translate didactic learning into real-world practice within our pharmacy teams. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, gain hands-on experience across store, district, and regional operations, and learn to provide compassionate, safe patient care while adhering to SOPs and regulations.

You will support immunizations, prescription fulfillment, and customer service, while developing the skills

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in all customer and colleague interactions.
• Learn to counsel patients and handle routine immunizations under supervision.
• Contribute to safe, inclusive culture and adhere to SOPs and regulations.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Intern and/or technician licensure in process/possession
