Job summary

Walgreens in Utah is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacist and pharmacy team while learning to provide patient-centered care. Under supervision, you will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

You will engage customers, help with over-the-counter products, participate in inventory tasks, and contribute to a respectful, compliant store environment while developing knowledge of pharmacy policy and best practices.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assist pharmacist in dispensing and entering prescriptions under supervision.
• Support pharmacy inventory management and stocking.
• Report prescription errors promptly to the pharmacist on duty.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and Good Faith Dispensing.
