Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team in delivering quality patient care. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and support daily operations under supervision.

Responsibilities include engaging customers, learning policy and procedures, and contributing to a positive and efficient pharmacy experience. Training will cover dispensing procedures and patient counseling within state scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and pharmacy team to provide patient experience.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems under pharmacist supervision.
• Support inventory and store operations for the Pharmacy Department.
