Walgreens Boots Alliance is seeking a post-graduate pharmacy intern to work under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will fulfill the State Board requirements and provide pharmacy consulting, medication usage guidance, and immunization services.

Responsibilities include compounding, dispensing, drug therapy reviews, insurance processing support, and assisting the pharmacy manager with workflow optimization to enhance customer experience while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university outside the United States.
• Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC).
• Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy, if required.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 45 days of completion of intern hours.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Counsels patients on usage of medications, side effects, interactions, and generics.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and assists with opening/closing duties of the pharmacy.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports productivity.

Ausbildung

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (outside United States)

Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC)

Intern permit/certificate (Board of Pharmacy)

Willingness to obtain licensure within 45 days of intern hours

Certified Immunizer or willing to become one (within 90 days)
