Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursue PharmD degree and licensure within district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in states within the district within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects and interactions to promote safe, effective therapy.
• Dispenses medications accurately, performs drug therapy reviews, and supports medication management activities.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and company policies while maintaining efficient pharmacy workflow.
• Immunizations and preventive health services are provided to enhance patient care.
• Maintains pharmacy systems, handles insurance processing and audits to minimize claim denials.
