Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree before start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from state boards within 90 days.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions and safety.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews and verification.
• Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and Good Faith Dispensing requirements.
• Maintains pharmacy IT systems knowledge and supports productivity improvements.
• Processes insurance claims and assists with third-party reviews and audits.
