Job summary

Qualifications

• PharmD degree required or pursuing licensure.
• Active pharmacist license in the states within the district.
• Immunizer certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions and privacy.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and Good Faith Dispensing standards.
• Support pharmacy manager with workflow, procedures and asset protection.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems and propose productivity enhancements.
• Process insurance claims and resolve issues with payers and providers.
