Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to the start date in position.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 90 days of hire per district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and generics; refer to provider if needed.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports efficient workflow, asset protection, and inventory management.
