Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our store-based pharmacy team in Michigan. You will apply didactic knowledge to real-world practice under a preceptor, gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations, and follow a structured training roadmap.

You’ll assist the team to ensure timely, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment while learning to deliver caring service and operate within SOPs, with opportunities to participate in immunizations and patient-care

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to support Pharmacists and Technicians in pharmacy operations.
• Assist with safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient service.
• Counsel patients and collect relevant medical history information when appropriate under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law and training.
