Job summary

CVS Health in Michigan seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, gaining hands-on experience in pharmacy operations, immunizations, and patient care within a retail environment.

You will learn SOPs, assist pharmacists, fill prescriptions, counsel patients, and support the team while traveling to stores in the market as needed; candidates must be enrolled in ACPE-accredited program and pursuing licensure.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians, providing empathetic patient service.
• Complete training and participate in immunization and other patient-care activities where allowed by law.
