Job summary

CVS Health in Detroit seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist. You will support daily pharmacy operations, ensure safe, accurate dispensing, and deliver caring service that exceeds patient expectations.

This part-time program provides hands-on experience across SOPs, immunizations, patient counseling, and team mentoring, with opportunities to grow toward a Pharmacist role as you complete a structured training roadmap and

Qualifications

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
Complete required training within designated timeframe
Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient needs, ensure label accuracy and patient safety
Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist patients with empathy and courtesy, support pharmacists and technicians
Communication Skills: verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues
Physical Demands: mobility, lifting up to 20 lbs, and long periods of standing
