Job summary

Walgreens Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to provide consulting services, immunizations, and medication management to customers. You will counsel on usage, interactions, and safety while ensuring proper dispensing and regulatory compliance.

This role supports workflow optimization, inventory control, and customer experience enhancement under supervision of the Pharmacy Manager. A Doctor of Pharmacy degree and active licensure are required or soon-to-be obtained, with immunizer certification

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures; supports efficient workflow and inventory management.
