Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Pharm D degree prior to start date.
• Pharmacist licensure in applicable state within 90 days.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions and generics.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations, policies and standards.
• Adheres to Good Faith Dispensing policy with state and federal laws.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and processes to support staff.
• Processes insurance claims and follows up with providers as needed.
