Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy consulting, immunizations, and medication management. You will counsel customers, process prescriptions, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining high service standards.

Role involves collaborating with store leadership, performing immunizations, and contributing to inventory and financial performance. On-site position in a Walgreens pharmacy location with patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medications, side effects, interactions, contraindications, privacy, generics, and OTC products.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations, policies and standards; supports efficient workflow and inventory management.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, registers, automation, StoreNET) and proposes enhancements.
• Reviews insurance claims, follows up with providers and audits to resolve issues.
• Delivers immunizations and preventive health services; supports community healthcare initiatives.
• Assists in analyzing performance data and KPI reviews with pharmacy leadership.
• Develops relationships with local medical community to promote pharmacy services.
