Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Pharm D from an accredited institution.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in district states within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions and generics; refers to provider when needed.
• Pharmacist tasks include compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensure compliance with Good Faith Dispensing and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy IT systems (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and propose enhancements.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with insurers and providers.
• Provide immunizations and preventive health services (flu shots, diabetes awareness).
• Support store management with KPI review and inventory management.
• Build relationships with local medical community and participate in outreach.
