Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to provide expert medication consulting, immunizations, and clinical services. You will review prescriptions, counsel patients, and ensure accurate dispensing within regulatory and company guidelines.

You will lead efforts to optimize workflow, support inventory and financial performance, and collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver exceptional customer care in a store setting.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain PharmD and licensure within required timeline.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
• Commitment to regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on use of medications, side effects, interactions, and generics.
• Performs compounding, verification, drug therapy reviews, and medication management.
• Maintains pharmacy operations in line with laws and Walgreens policies.
• Supports revenue and inventory management, patient experience, and KPI goals.
• Executes immunizations and preventive health services where applicable.
• Maintains pharmacy systems knowledge and assists with hardware/software improvements.
• Communicates with providers, insurers, and customers to resolve issues.
