Job summary

Walgreens Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to provide consulting on medication use, interactions and preventive health services, including immunizations. You will ensure accurate compounding, dispensing and verification of prescribed meds under state regulations and company policies.

You will support workflow, optimize pharmacy operations, inventory management and customer experience, and assist the pharmacy manager with KPI reviews and asset protection initiatives.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medication usage, safety, interactions and side effects.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and dispensing.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and policies; support managers and optimize workflow.
