Job summary

CVS Health offers a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program designed to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy operations. Under a preceptor’s guidance, you complete a 120-day training roadmap to deepen patient safety, drug utilization review, and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines, within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend required training and complete onboarding within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately and promptly.
• Support immunizations, point-of-care testing, and vaccine-related activities where allowed by law.
• Provide empathetic customer service and guidance to patients and colleagues.
• Travel to stores in the market to support store coverage as needed.
