Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor. You will complete a 120‑day training roadmap across store, district, and regional operations, supporting pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment with empathy and care.

You will learn SOPs, participate in patient safety initiatives, and grow toward a pharmacist role while contributing to immunizations, DUR and other CVS services.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly, our patients’ prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
• Conduct immunization support and other CVS health services where allowed by law and training
• Learn to operate under SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy
• Provide empathetic, personalized customer service and effective communication with patients and colleagues
• Support inventory activities and maintain accuracy in dispensing and records
