Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern who will apply classroom knowledge to real-world practice in our pharmacy teams. You will follow a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap, support patient care, and learn SOPs and standards while delivering safe, accurate prescriptions.

As readiness increases, you will take on greater accountability in multiple stores within the market, assist with immunizations, and contribute to a high-performing team under the supervision of a licensed

Qualifications

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program.
Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the specified timeframe.
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice to prepare for a Pharmacist role.
Complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap.
Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly, and accurately.
Learn to operate under SOPs with effective communication and patient care.
Support immunizations, patient counseling, and other pharmacy services where allowed by law.
Travel to stores in the market to support shifts as needed by the business.
