Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in our stores. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, follow SOPs, and assist with dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and daily store operations.

You will gain hands-on experience, contribute to safe patient care, and prepare for increasing responsibility while working a flexible schedule in a CVS location.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Preferred immunization certification when available.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists and technicians manage patient health.
• Assist in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and customer service at the counter.
• Support immunizations, vaccines, or point-of-care testing as allowed by law and training.
