Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our retail pharmacy team. You will apply didactic learning in real-world practice under a preceptor, following a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs and guidance from district leadership.

You will assist with dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations where permitted, and daily SOPs to support safe and efficient pharmacy operations while developing for a Pharmacist role in a dynamic CVS Health environment.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy program enrollment or acceptance.
• Valid intern/technician licensure in process or obtained as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy in accordance with SOPs and regulations.
• Support immunizations and other pharmacy services as allowed by state law.
