Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program within our Retail locations. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, following a comprehensive training roadmap and gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You will support the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately while delivering caring service that exceeds patient expectations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to support pharmacists and technicians
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Counsel and assist patients under pharmacist supervision
• Maintain inventory and handle routine pharmacy tasks
• Support immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed by law
