Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program at our retail locations. You will apply classroom knowledge to patient care, support pharmacy teams, and learn under a licensed pharmacist while gaining exposure to store operations, SOPs, and patient services.

You'll balance training with hands-on duties, including immunizations support, prescription processing basics, and customer service excellence, preparing you for future responsibilities as a pharmacist in a dynamic, patient‑focused

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by following SOPs and supporting pharmacists and technicians in patient health
• Following pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Assist with immunizations and other services under supervision to ensure quality patient care
• Counseling patients and soliciting medical history information to provide optimal care when appropriate
• Taking telephonic prescriptions and clarifying prescriptions where allowed by state regulation
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members and participate in inventory activities as directed
