Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and accurate prescriptions while gaining real-world practice. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, learn SOP adherence, and participate in immunizations and patient counseling as appropriate under supervision.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure that prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered service and counsel as needed under supervision.
• Maintain SOPs and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify prescriptions with prescribers where allowed by state regulations.
