Job summary

CVS Health in Wisconsin is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist. You will support pharmacy teams, learn SOPs, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

This role involves assisting with prescription filling, patient care, immunizations, and other pharmacy services as allowed by state regulations. You will travel to stores in the market as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and focus: concentrate on a task over a period of time
• Maintain patient safety by confirming prescription information and labeling accurately
• Customer service and team orientation: assist pharmacy staff and engage with patients
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, including discussing questions with the pharmacist in charge
