Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply school learnings in real-world practice, preparing for a Pharmacist role while contributing to the pharmacy team.

You will learn through a comprehensive training roadmap, supporting prescription processing, patient care, and safe operations across store teams. The program emphasizes SOP adherence, teamwork, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and assist with medical questions under supervision.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify changes with prescriber where allowed.
• Support immunizations and other services where permitted by law.
• Assist with inventory activities and cycles counts as directed.
