Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmacy consulting and ensures proper dispensing and verification of medications.
• Supports workflow and assists in optimizing pharmacy financials and inventory.
• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and Good Faith Dispensing standards.
• Keeps up with pharmacy IT systems and proposes enhancements.
• Handles insurance claims processing and 3rd party audits.
• Participates in community outreach and builds relationships with medical providers.
