Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to translate didactic learning into real-world practice within our pharmacy teams. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs, SOPs, and leadership mentorship to support safe, efficient prescription fulfillment and patient service.

Expect to travel to stores as needed and to develop clinical and operational skills for future Pharmacist roles.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, ensure prescription accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people, respond to patients.
• Communication Skills: verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate tablets, days supply, and bottle counts.
