Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice. You’ll work under a preceptor, complete a comprehensive training roadmap, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You’ll assist with pharmacy operations, ensure accurate prescriptions, and deliver caring service that exceeds patient expectations. You will learn to operate within SOPs, participate in immunizations and other services, and grow toward a Pharmacist role while

Qualifications

• Required enrollment in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs and SOPs.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Deliver patient service with empathy and care, including immunizations and counseling when appropriate.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures and maintain patient privacy and safety.
