Job summary

CVS Health in Naples, FL is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom knowledge to real-world pharmacy operations. Under the preceptor, you’ll follow a structured training roadmap, participate in SOPs, and support pharmacists and technicians in patient care.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across prescription filling, immunizations, counseling, inventory, and store operations, with travel to stores as needed, while upholding safety, privacy and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician status.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on key learning experiences (KLEs).
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and deliver caring service to patients.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and assist with clarifications under supervision.
• Support immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, and offsite clinics where allowed by law.
• Maintain SOP adherence, regulatory compliance, and privacy/security standards.
