Job summary

CVS Health in Florida is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program within our retail pharmacies. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, completing a comprehensive training roadmap and gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

The role emphasizes patient care, safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, immunizations readiness, and development toward a Pharmacist role while adhering to SOPs and fostering empathy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Required qualifications: Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Provide empathetic and caring customer service to patients at pickup, drive‑thru, and over the phone.
• Counsel patients and field medical questions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain SOPs and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture within the pharmacy team.
• Complete inventory activities and support cycle counts and returns‑to‑stocks.
