Job summary

CVS Health in Texas (Longview area) is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world pharmacy setting. Under a licensed pharmacist, you will assist with prescription processing, patient interactions, and learning the workflow in a busy retail pharmacy.

You will follow SOPs, expand clinical and technical skills, and may participate in immunizations and other patient services as allowed by state law, gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment or acceptance.
• Active intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend required trainings and SOPs to ensure patient safety.
• Support pharmacy team to accurately fill prescriptions and provide service.
• Assist in immunizations and other services where allowed by state law.
