Job summary

CVS Health in Texas is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in a real-world pharmacy setting within our retail locations. You will work under a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap, contributing to safe and efficient prescription fulfillment and patient service.

You will gain hands-on experience across store operations, district and regional perspectives, while upholding SOPs, empathy, and professional standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend required training and complete the training roadmap.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and caring in all patient and colleague interactions.
• Maintain SOPs and participate in inventory and cycle counts.
• Support immunizations and other pharmacy services where allowed by state law.
