Job summary

CVS Health in Texas Allen is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy team, applying classroom learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist. You will follow SOPs and help ensure safe, accurate prescription handling while delivering compassionate service.

The role offers hands-on training across store operations, immunization support where allowed, and travel between market stores to develop clinical and technical skills in preparation for a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to assist pharmacists and technicians and ensure patient safety.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across workstations.
• Counsel patients and answer medical questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care activities where allowed by law.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and empathetic patient experience.
