Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern in Texas to apply didactic learning in real-world practice under a preceptor. You will gain hands-on experience within the pharmacy team, learning SOPs, patient safety, and effective communication while supporting daily operations.

You will work toward expanding clinical and technical knowledge, assisting with immunizations and patient services as allowed, and traveling to stores in the market as needed to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation
• Deliver empathetic patient service and support immunizations and other services where allowed by law
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and medication deliveries as directed by leadership
• Travel to stores in the market to support scheduling and business needs if required
