Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program within our retail pharmacy teams. Interns will apply didactic knowledge to real-world practice under a preceptor, following a structured training roadmap and gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

Responsibilities include supporting pharmacy operations, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing, and delivering caring service that exceeds patient expectations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs across pharmacy operations.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and caring in customer interactions and support immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed by the business.
• Adhere to SOPs and maintain patient privacy and security.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Valid intern and/or technician licensure
