Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program within our Retail locations. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, following a structured training roadmap and SOPs to ensure safe and efficient pharmacy operations.

You will gain hands-on experience in dispensing, patient counseling, and store operations while developing for a pharmacist role. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care, immunizations, and collaboration with pharmacy teams,

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in ACPE accredited college/school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs and hands-on experience in the pharmacy team.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient service.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism with patients; uphold SOPs and privacy standards.
• Support immunizations, point-of-care testing, and off-site clinics where permitted by law.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to cover shifts and support operations.
