Job summary

CVS Health in Indiana is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy settings within our retail stores. Under a pharmacist preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap to learn operations, SOPs, and patient-centered service.

You’ll assist with dispensing, immunizations where allowed, patient counseling, and collaboration with pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on KLEs and pharmacy operations.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and patient care.
• Demonstrate empathy and professional communication with patients and colleagues.
• Adhere to SOPs, comply with federal/state laws, and maintain patient privacy.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Intern and/or technician licensure in process
